01Overview

This policy explains how Deploint (“Deploint”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website (the “site”). It covers information you send us through our forms and the limited technical information our systems record when you visit.

We collect as little personal information as we can, use it only for the purposes described here, and do not sell it.

02Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit a form on the site, we receive the information you enter:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company, role, industry, inquiry type, project type, estimated scope, timeline, technology requirements and your message.
  • Careers form: your name, email address, the role you are interested in, your location, a profile or portfolio link, and your message.

Please do not include confidential business information or sensitive personal data, such as identity numbers or health information, in a form submission.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site may record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this information to operate and secure the site, including to detect abuse and to limit the rate of form submissions.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not load third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own infrastructure rather than a third-party font service. See our Cookie Policy for details.

03How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and hold the technical conversation you asked for;
  • review job applications and contact applicants about roles;
  • operate, maintain and secure the site, including preventing spam and abuse;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles.

05How information is shared

Form submissions are sent to the systems Deploint uses to manage inquiries and applications. Some of these systems, such as hosting and inquiry handling, may be operated by service providers acting on our behalf. They may process personal information only to provide their services to us, under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.

We may also disclose information:

  • when required by law, regulation or valid legal process;
  • to protect the rights, property or safety of Deploint, our users or others;
  • as part of a merger, acquisition or similar transaction, subject to this policy.

06How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and application information for as long as needed to respond, to manage any resulting relationship, and to meet legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it. Technical request logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

07Security

We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls and abuse protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can read more about our engineering practices on our Security page.

08International transfers

Personal information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including by service providers. Where the law requires it, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for those transfers.

09Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to or ask us to restrict certain processing;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a request, contact us and choose “Privacy request” as the inquiry type. This form accepts any email address. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10Children

The site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
